56, passed away at 12:15 AM on Sunday, October 04, 2015, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Wanda was born on Thursday, May 28, 1959, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Vic D. and Dorothy I. (Hughes) Mertz.
Wanda was a 1977 graduate from Elida High School and attended Woodlawn Baptist Church. She worked at Lima Convalescent Home, Hilty Memorial Home and Kids Count Inc. She loved kids and taking care of them.
She is survived by: a son, Daniel Hirt of Columbus Grove; a daughter, Rachael (Shaun) Brady of Columbus; sister, JoAnna (Jim) Hirt of Westminster; brother, Vic (Nancy) Mertz of Westminster; sister, Renea (Franklin) Perry of Lima; brother, Ed Donnal of Lima; brother, Russ Donnal of Marion and a granddaughter Robin Kelly Brady; several nieces, nephews and great nieces.
She is preceded in death by: sister, Mary Beth Donnal and three children; Joshua, Amy and Aaron Hirt.
A graveside service will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 07, 2015 at Preston Cemetery Alger, Ohio. David Stanford will officiate.
