Wayne E. Miller,

72, passed away at 2 PM on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Shawnee Manor in Lima, Ohio.

Wayne was born on Tuesday, October 26, 1943, in Lima, to the late Wayne E. and Elenor (Point) Miller. On Thursday, January 31, 1963, in Lima, he married Rosa Lee Foster who preceded him in death on October 2, 1987.

Wayne worked at OSSI as a Garbage Hauler and at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center as a Custodial Maintenance Person. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #370 and the American Legion Post #96. He enjoyed driving and watching the scenery, garage saleing, and TV watching. He loved his family.

He is survived by his children, Cheri Jones, Mary Zimmerman, Matthew (Angel) Miller and Mark (Joyce) Miller; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; sister, Barb (Harold) Martinek.

He is preceded in death by: great grandson, Aiden Zimmerman; sister, Jane Blankenship and brother-in-law, Gene Blankenship.

The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 1 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Doug Wise will officiate.
