Willette Spargue

WILLETTE G. SPRAGUE, 89, died at 5:35 p.m. November 8, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born July 21, 1915, in Indiana Harbor, Indiana, to William and Bertha Walker Gilmore, who preceded her in death. On September 25, 1937, she married Eugene J. "E.J." Sprague, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Sprague had worked at Fashion Bug in the 1970s. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society. She loved crocheting, sewing and reading. She was a devoted wife for more than 67 years and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister. Survivors also include a son, Gene R. (Nancy) Sprague of Lima, Ohio; two daughters, Barbara Sprague and Beth (Denny) Musselman, both of Elida, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jeff (Brandy) Musselman, Tricia Musselman, Alison Musselman, Gene R. Sprague Jr., Brad (Nicole) Sprague, Ryan Sprague, Bret Sprague and Katy Sprague; four great-grandchildren, Aleah Sprague, Kyla Sprague, Morghan Musselman and Adeline Hilden; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Felder; a son, Robert Sprague; a brother, Robert Gilmore; and four sisters, Esther Steiner, Betty Daley, Helen McKinley and Doris Schutz. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Lacey will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
