William George Ballweg Jr.

William George Ballweg Jr., 84, died at 2:05 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at his residence in Mason, Ohio.

William was born on August 10, 1936, in St. Johns, Ohio, to the late William G.  Ballweg Sr. and Laura [maiden name] Ballweg.  On January 31, 1959 he married Rita (Stokes) Ballweg, who preceded him in death on November 16, 2019.

He was a graduate of Wapakoneta St. Joseph High School and worked for Peterson’s Construction and Tuttle Construction for over 30 years as a brick layer.

William is survived by his son, David H. (Julie) Ballweg of Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Stephanie L. (Bob) Norman of Maineville, OH; five grandchildren: Christopher (Chrissy) Ballweg of Cincinnati, OH, Allison Ballweg, of Cincinnati, OH, Matthew Ballweg, Reed Norman and Mackenzie Norman.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Adrain, Fritz, Venard and Marion Ballweg, Gertrude McCullough, Martha Worth and Dorothy Wallace.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.  The memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m.  Rev. Larry Molaski will officiate.  Interment of ashes will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima, Ohio.
