William C. McKnight,
96 of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, April 20, 2012, at 5:00 P.M. at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Friday, July 2, 1915 in Cobb Hill, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ed McKnight and the late Lula Howell McKnight.
William married Susie Richardson in 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri, she preceded him in death. He served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Corporal in the Company K 10th Infantry. He was a member of the New Creation Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Proctor Lodge #213, F & AM, Beattyville, KY., and a retired member of the I.B. E. W. Local # 32.
Surviving are: a daughter, Deborah (Edwin) Conran of Elizabeth City, NC; a granddaughter, Stephanie Conran, a grandson, Justin Conran; three great grandchildren, Jada Conran, Jasmine Conran and Hillarie Conran; many nephews and nieces; a loving companion, Mary Linn.
Nine siblings preceded him in death.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be at 3:00 P.M. on April 24, 2012 at the funeral Home with Pastor Samuel Payne officiating
