William Roush

William Ralph ?Bill? Roush, 85, died at 8:50 p.m. August 13, 2010, at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1925, in Lima, Ohio to Walter R. and Ruth M. Moorman Roush, who preceded him in death. On February 3, 1946, he married Dorthy Mae Redd, who died March 7, 2009. Mr. Roush was a Navy veteran serving from 1943 to 1946. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a member of Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54. He retired in 1988 from Sheller-Globe Corp. Survivors include four children, William Thomas ?Tom? (Mary Lou) Roush and John M. (Mary Pat) Roush, both of Lima, Ohio, Sarah Beth (Douglas) First, of Naperville, Illinois, and Charles (Barbara) Roush, of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Tom Roush, Will (Missy) Roush, Wendy (Clifford T.) Ellis, Patricia Roush, Ryan First and Lauren First; a great-granddaughter, Kate Ellis; and a brother, Dale B. (Joy) Roush. He was preceded in death by eight brothers, Arden Roush, Bernard Roush, Eldon Roush, Merle Roush, Berle Roush, Milford Roush, Floyd Roush and Walter Roush; and three sisters, Marie Augsburger, Betty Lou Gratz and Jane Neth. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
