William Sherer

William Sherer , 51, passed away at 12:55 p.m. on January 15, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

William was born on December 24, 1970 in Lima, Ohio, to William Sherer II and Mary Ann Quickle-Sherer.  He married Tresa (Shepherd) Sherer, who survives in Findlay, Ohio.

William loved motorcycles, the outside, camping and fishing. William is also part Shawnee and Lakota Indian and part of the drumming circle with Native Americans.

Along with his wife, he is survived by nieces Dasha Cook, and Tracy Vining; nephew Damon Cook Jr.; great nephews Zerian and Zayden Wantland, Xavier Clary; great niece Taleah Cook; aunts Nora Michael, Polly Welker; stepsons Donnie and Aaron McCoy; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Janet Quickle.

A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Chamberlain-Hickeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Neal Whitney will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
