WILLIAM LEE TICE, 75, died at 1 p.m. February 19, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born November 13, 1930, in Lima, Ohio to Robert and Evelyn Fox Tice, who preceded him in death. On January 13, 1974, he married Beulah M. Beck, who died April 12, 1999. On September 3, 1999, he married Norma Jean Whetstone, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Tice retired in 1989, from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, after 30 years. He was a member of Auglaize Bible Church. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 and United Auto Workers Local 1219. He attended Shawnee High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors also include five sons, Darrell Tice of Columbus Grove, Ohio, Terry (Chris) Tice of Holland, Ohio, William (Deb) Tice of Piqua, Ohio, Scott (Heather) Tice of Nelson, Kansas, and Robert (Marilee) Dungan of Lima, Ohio; four daughters, Connie Tice of Columbus Grove, Ohio, Paulette (Kenneth) Stemen of Lima, Ohio, Debbie Plantz of Georgetown, S.Carolina, and Donna Greenlese of McComb, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy (Farrell "Bud") Bergquist of Kettering, Ohio; and 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Tice and Richard Tice; and a grandchild, Landon Ways. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Gordon Terpening will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
