Yetta Yaskoff

Yetta Wilson Yaskoff, 93, died at 9:05 a.m. Aug. 1, 2010, at The Ridge at Shawnee Nursing Home. She was born July 9, 1917, in Lonaconing, Md., to James and Gracie Lee Cheney Dinning, who preceded her in death. She was first married to Dr. Thomas R. Wilson, who died in 1988. She married Cyril J. Yaskoff, who died in 1985. Mrs. Wilson Yaskoff graduated from Stoystown High School in Stoystown, Pa. She was a graduate of Temple University School of Nursing. She retired from Lima Memorial Hospital in 1985 after 18 years of service as evening charge nurse in the coronary care unit. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. She was a member of Shawnee Country Club of Lima and Willow Bend Country Club of Van Wert. She was an avid golfer and bowler. Survivors include two sons, Thomas A.(Suellen) Wilson II, of Miramar Beach, Fla., and Holland (Sue) Wilson, of Troy, Mich.; a daughter, Deborah Schellie, of Atlanta; nine grandchildren, Kacy Harris, Lori Wilson, Scott (Renee) Schellie, Susan (Brian) Olin, Zachary Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Trent Wilson, Taylor Wilson and Lizzy; three great-grandchildren, Wade Harris, Mikaila Wilson-Miyoshi and Jackson Olin; and a sister, Jackie (Ed) Moon. Graveside services will begin at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Timothy W. Harris will officiate. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
