Billy W Garland

Billy W. Garland, 59, of Lima, Ohio, passed away on September 4, 2017. He was born on September 4, 1958 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Hilt and June Garland.
He is survived by his wife, Corine Garland, his children Michael D. Garland, Owen (Karen) Garland, Michael W. Garland, June (Mike) Garland, Cassandra (Miguel) Jimenez, and Nicole (Jake) Fair, 3 step-children Ben, Beth, and Matthew, 28 grandchildren, 1 brother, 3 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his granddaughter Haley, 3 brothers Lonnie, Roy, and Michael Garland.
Billy was a semi-truck driver and was very proud of his profession. He loved traveling in the outdoors with his dog Blaze. He was a very kind hearted person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He never knew a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his two dear friends Harold Golden and John Miller "Weasel", and most of all, his grandchildren, who were his whole world.
His family will receive friends on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 3-7PM and Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio with a memorial service starting at 7PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
